100 Characters in the Bible – Part 1 (For children)

This curriculum can be used for personal use or either in person or online for children’s classes like Sunday School or weekly Bible classes. Each lesson is designed with 5 steps:

  • Self-Study: Students think about the Bible passage and write down what they’ve researched (Student book)
  • Learn Together: Students study together with their teacher (Teacher’s book)
  • Talk to God: Students pray in response to the things they learned
  • Try it Out: This is to help them remember the characters and lessons better through activities that help them apply the lesson. It may be making crafts, doing experiments, holding interviews, or other small projects
  • Read More, Get More: Students read some supplementary information related to the main character. The information can be about Biblical customs, common knowledge, science, etc.

This curriculum was developed to help children begin and develop a habit of reading the Bible for themselves and discuss it with their friends and teachers after so that together they can explore the Word of God. The additional reading and activity sections help them to remember and apply God’s Word, as well as increase their knowledge of the Bible and the world around them.

The materials include:

  • The student book for part 1 (For both students and teachers): 120,000 VND / book (purchase amount depends on how many there are in the class. It should be one book for every student)
  • A teacher’s link – The activities for each character, the summary videos for each character, test review sheets and test questions: a love offering of 50,000 VND / student for 1 copy of the teachers guidebook
  • 100 Characters flashcards – each card includes the name of the character, 3 notable hints about that character (that can be acted out), and a summary of that character: 120,000 VND / set

* If teachers would like to start a class, we will instruct them on how to use these materials (a 1-hour session that can be done over Zoom/video call)
