To our beloved teachers and parents,
Helping our children become familiar with the alphabet is one of those important steps that parents of preschoolers take to help their children learn what letters look like and how to connect the sounds they hear to those letters. The alphabet is something that they will use often to learn about the things around them. We are confident that Christian parents will find this step more interesting and valuable if, as their children learn the alphabet and practice scribbling their ABCs, they are also becoming familiar with some Bible vocabulary.
With these things in mind, we at SU would like to introduce the book “Learning my Letters and Bible Words”. This book introduces the 29 letters of the Vietnamese Alphabet in both uppercase and lowercase. There are exercises where they have to highlight letters, word search activities, and exercises to practice forming letters and words. Especially notable, each letter of the alphabet goes along with a word or phrase taken from the Bible that starts with that letter. Parents can use this to refer back to the Bible story related to each word and tell their children about that story. These words and phrases were developed from the contents of the illustrated storybook, God’s Great Story. If parents wish, they can look out for that book too and complete the set.
The SU Team hopes that this alphabet book can contribute in a small way not only to your childrens’ education and development, but also in helping them to become more interested in learning about God as they take these first steps to become familiar with – and grow to love – the Bible.
This is our sincere desire!
