Throughout history, God has used all sorts of things to do amazing things. We know about God using water in Noah’s flood, fire in Lot’s story, and rivers in Moses’ time. But have you ever thought about how God uses animals? Here are some cool examples:
ANIMALS IN THE PLAGUES OF EGYPT
In Exodus, God used animals in the plagues sent to Egypt, like frogs, lice, flies, and locusts. Even the Egyptians’ livestock became sick, showing that God’s power is real!
BALAAM AND THE TALKING DONKEY
In Numbers 22, Balaam’s donkey saw an angel and stopped, even when Balaam tried to move him. Then, God made the donkey speak to Balaam, telling him it was God who stopped him!
ELIJAH AND THE RAVENS
During a drought, God told ravens to bring food to Elijah every day. These birds, who usually eat everything, brought him bread and meat without eating it themselves. How cool is that?
ELISHA AND THE BEARS
In 2 Kings, some boys made fun of Elisha, calling him “baldhead.” God sent two bears to teach them a lesson, showing that disrespecting God and His prophets has serious consequences.
JONAH, THE BIG FISH, AND THE WORM
God sent a big fish to save Jonah from the sea, and later used a plant and a worm to teach Jonah about His love and mercy.
As you can see, God uses so many different ways to carry out His plan. These are just more examples of how much we can trust God. No matter what your situation is, there’s always hope!
