Raising the Next Generation Among the Jrai People
The Jrai community in Gia Lai is largely Christian, but access to general education and Christian resources is still limited. By God’s grace, through the invitation and help of the Christian Library in HCM, SU held a training program in March for over 70 teachers from 19 Jrai churches. The training focused on materials for preschoolers, children, and young people.
Pastors in the region also joined with a shared longing: to see the next generation of Jrai believers grow strong in their walk with Christ and rise up to serve in Jrai churches throughout Gia Lai and beyond.
Currently, we need support to print 779 Bible study books and learning tools for the number of Jrai children, youth, and teenagers signed up for our program. We are praying that God will raise up partners to help us move closer to our vision that “the next generation would know… and put their trust in God” (Psalm 78:4–7).
