Teacher And Student Set For Learning God’s Word For Children 3 – 6 Years Old: “Learning God’s Big Story”

To our beloved teachers and parents!

Our children need to hear the most beautiful story of all, the story of God’s love for all people – and themselves included. The most gentle yet fierce influence that our children can be affected by is the influence of the Holy Spirit, moving through the Word of God and placed upon the foundation of the redemptive love of Jesus. The focus of everything the Bible and Christianity speaks about is Jesus, not stories that end with a trite message on ethics, such as Bible stories that tell of an amazing Abraham, a cool Joshua, a talented David, or a strong Paul. So, how can we teach our children, who are only 3 – 6 years old, about Jesus in a way that they can understand the big story of God when it’s recorded in such a thick Bible?

After some time looking for materials and researching, the SU Team would like to introduce the curriculum for “Learning God’s Big Story”:

• For children aged 3 – 6
• Study time is 2 years (83 lessons)

“God’s Big Story” from Genesis to Revelation was developed by the SU Team to contain 52 keywords and their accompanying actions. It takes the form of Walking through the Bible. 

Teachers or Parents that want to learn how to use these resources will be:

• Instructed on how to use this material, especially regarding the preparation and usage of visual and other teaching aids. Each teacher / parent needs to have the teachers edition in order to fully understand the directions given for the different sections in each lesson.
• Provided with a link alongside the materials that links to some resources that will guide you with concrete steps on how to set up the games, teach knowledge on life, and also includes the videos for the day-to-day or scientific information relevant to the lesson and the childrens’ ages.

Children studying this curriculum need to have the following books: “God’s Big Story”, “Getting to Know my Bible through Pictures Activity Book”, Learning my Letters and Bible Words”
