1. CLOSE FRIENDS – WE ALL GOT ‘EM
Our kids have lots of friends, right?
Among them are some who are really close to them, and some who aren’t. Spend some time to tell your kids about a close friend of yours and what you learned from that friend. After that, you can ask your kids about their closest friend and what the friendship between them is like.

2. WATCH CHRISTIAN MOVIES TOGETHER:
Find some Christian movies (that are age appropriate) and set up a family movie night. You can invite their friends and cousins too. Popcorn, drinks, and pillows to lean on will help create the feeling of watching it in an actual theater. After the movie, you can share about the message you each got from it.

3. WHEN I DO WELL, WHEN I DO GREAT, MY PARENTS ENCOURAGE ME, THERE IS NO WAIT!
You were created as an original, and you shine in your own special way. Take a video of something your kids did well and send it to their teacher. Whatever they do well, whether it’s sweeping, organizing, making crafts, cooking, playing instruments, singing, using the computer, fixing clothes, making Legos, designing, speaking, acting, or studying, your kids could be a leader in that area one day. Pray for them as you follow their growth, and create opportunities for your kids to continue to grow and improve in the things they do well!

4. MEMORIZE GOD’S WORD TOGETHER:
Families learning and memorizing God’s Word together is a wonderful habit that will have a positive long-term effect on your children’s future.
You can start with a familiar Bible passage that’s easy to remember, such as Psalm 23, 1 Corinthians 13, Psalm 1, Romans 12, etc. These verses are not only easy to memorize, they have a great message as well.

5. WORK TOGETHER TO CLEAN UP YOUR STREET:
In order to do your part in creating a green, clean, and beautiful environment around you, go out into your neighborhood and the area where you live and start cleaning up: pick up trash, sweep, pull weeds, plant trees, bushes, flowers, or even paint the walls! Pick whatever activity works best for your family, and together demonstrate what it means to be good, responsible citizens who love your neighborhood.
