MEMBERS OF MY BODY (using dice to move across spaces on a tarp)
GAME 2
*MATERIALS (for each team or for the class)
– A MEMBERS OF MY BODY tarp
– A box of large dice
*HOW TO PLAY:
Welcome to this tournament where we will be getting a better understanding of how the different members of the Body work. Try your best to roll the dice and start off with a 1 or 6. There are three interesting things that you will discover on your journey to the end:
1) If you land on a space that has a part of the body, you have to answer one question about that part of the body.
2) If you land on a space that has you move extra, go back, or stop, you have to move in whatever way that space tells you to.
3) Others will serve you, or you will have to help other people, throughout this game.
– You can divide the class into different groups of teams, or have the whole class play in teams together. If the whole class is playing together, have each team choose one person to play for them.
– Find a fun way to choose which team goes first. That team rolls the dice and then goes the number of spaces they rolled. The player chosen by each team is the “pawn” who moves around on the game board.
– The winner is whichever team reaches the end first.
